When I make work, it feels almost methodical because I find that I obsess with even the smallest technical aspects of any method.  This obsession is sometimes translated as symmetry in forms, precise color picking (even though I am color blind), while sometimes, the technical obsession is shown through just the use of certain methods.

I use many different mediums, and like to explore the way I can use them all together. I think this has been one of the focal points of how I make work.  I make work that uses multiple mediums because I don’t like being constricted to the limitations of being a purist of the medium.  I work with methods such as darkroom photo, digital photo&video, Printmaking (lithography, zinc/copper plate etching, polymer photogravure, screen printing, & methods used for printing on fibers such as sublimation dye & heat press). More recently, I have been working in 3D design and furniture making, combining fabric printing knowledge with CNC and CAD skills. I am inspired to mix mediums and stray away from the methodological and strict ways some practices I've learned were taught to me.
